HELLO LUBLIN (LISTEN ON-LINE)
More than 350 thousand inhabitants, more than 85 thousand students, among them a great number of foreigners, who work, study or simply come to Lublin in order to tour the city. Majority of them doesn't speak Polish and because of cluture-barriers they cannot comprehend what is going on within the city's vicinity.Thinking of those people, Radio Centrum along with Homo Faber Association starts a radio broadcast named "Hello Lublin!".
At 16:20 (4:20 PM), Saturday, english-speaking listeners will get to know, how to cope with Lublin, how to make certain arrangements in city's offices, how to commute throughout the city. Beside's that, one will hear about various culture events, as Lublin strives to achieve the title of Europe's Capital of Culture. Promoting such information among foreigners may significantly boost city's odds in achieving this goal. During the programme one will also find the summary of news substantial for Lublin considering branches of politics, social-life and information important to students.
Programme is being made by journalists from Radio Centrum's afternoon news broadcast "Raport Reporterów". Broadcast in English will be done by Marek Ziemba.
